Blood Drain (Su)

A vampire trihorn can drink the blood of an opponent impaled upon its horn, dealing 1d4 points of Constitution damage. The vampire trihorn heals 5 hit points and gains 5 temporary hit points for 1 hour (up to a maximum number of temporary hit points equal to its full normal hit points) each round it drains blood.

Impale (Ex)

A vampire trihorn that hits a creature with its horn can impale the creature on its horn if the horn attack hits the creature’s KAC by +4 or more.

The impaled creature can remove itself from the horn with a successful Athletics or Sleight of Hand check competing against the vampire trihorn’s Athletics check.

Spider Climb (Su)

A vampire trihorn can climb sheer surfaces as though under the effects of a spider climb spell.

Sunlight Vulnerability (Su)

A vampire trihorn is unharmed by sunlight. However, during the active daylight hours, while exposed to sunlight, a trihorn assumes the appearance of an immobile, helpless triceratops corpse. While in this state, a vampire trihorn cannot use any of its spell-like or supernatural abilities.

Vampiric Advantage (Ex)

Bleeding creatures are flat-footed to the vampire trihorn.

These undead are dinosaurs animated and controlled by the magically-powerful Saurians to serve as protectors of their sacred territories. As dinosaurs die, or are slain, the Saurian necromancers transform the bodies of the fallen behemoths to create these specialized undead. Being possessed by the spirits of dead Saurians, the unextinct enjoy intelligence and supernatural powers far beyond those of a normal animated corpse.

Vampire trihorns are created from the bodies of slain triceratops. Their undead reanimation gives them powers similar to a legendary vampire, including the ability to summon mists, transform into mist, and consume the blood of their enemies.

Many think that the vampire trihorn share the vulnerabilities of legendary vampires, but this is inaccurate. Vampire trihorns are completely unarmed by exposure to sunlight. However, while exposed to direct sunlight, a vampire trihorn is immobile and completely helpless, appearing as nothing more than a normal triceratops corpse. This is one of the few times a vampire trihorn is vulnerable to its enemies.
