Create Spawn (Su)

A humanoid creature that is slain by a clubtailed wight becomes a wight itself in only 1d4 rounds. Spawn are under the control of the clubtailed wight that created them and remain enslaved until the original clubtailed wight is destroyed, at which point they become free-willed wights. Wights do not possess any of the traits they possessed in life.

Resurrection Vulnerability (Su)

A raise dead or similar spell cast on a clubtailed wight destroys it (Will negates). Using the spell this way does not require a material component.

Tailslam (Ex)

A creature struck by the clubtailed wight’s tail must attempt a DC 15 Fortitude save. On a failure, the creature is slowed for 1 round until the end of its next turn.

These undead are dinosaurs animated and controlled by the magically-powerful Saurians to serve as protectors of their sacred territories. As dinosaurs die, or are slain, the Saurian necromancers transform the bodies of the fallen behemoths to create these specialized undead. Being possessed by the spirits of dead Saurians, the unextinct enjoy intelligence and supernatural powers far beyond those of a normal animated corpse.

Created from the body of the physically powerful ankylosaurus, the clubtailed wight is an exceptionally dangerous opponent. Its body is covered in thick armor that only the heavies of weapons can breach. And the creature possesses a deadly natural weapon with a long tail ending in a mace-like club.

Add to this the power to sap the life force from any creature struck with its tail, and the clubtailed wight is a nigh-unstoppable undead beast!

When sending formations of unextinct into the battlefield, the saurians use these creatures as the front line. With their heavy armor and powerful strikes, clubtailed wights have been known to hold their own against powered armor soldiers, small vehicles, and even mechanized tanks!
