Blood Frenzy (Ex)

When a sahuagin deals bleed damage to a living creature, the sahuagin flies into a frenzy that lasts 1 minute. While frenzied, the sahuagin gains a +1 rage bonus to attack rolls with its natural weapons, gains a +4 rage bonus to damage roll with its natural weapons, gains 4 temporary hit points until the end of the frenzy, and takes a -2 rage penalty to EAC/ KAC. The sahuagin can’t voluntarily end its blood frenzy. After its frenzy has ended, the sahuagin is fatigued until it takes a 10 minute rest.

Bloodletting (Ex)

When a sahuagin deals damage with a piercing or slashing weapon, it also deals 1d4 bleed damage when the target is flat-footed or on a critical hit.

Shark Commune (Su)

A sahuagin can communicate telepathically with sharks within range. It can only communicate simple concepts like “come,” “guard,” or “attack.”

ECOLOGY

Environment oceans
Organization solitary, pair, team (5-8), or patrol (11-20 plus 1-2 sharks)

In the lightless depths of ocean worlds live a species of wicked aquatic humanoids. These monstrous fishmen only come to the surface on moonless nights, causing wise fishermen to avoid sailing on such black evenings. Those foolish enough to sail during the new moon will find themselves attacked or pulled overboard to serve as the meal of these horrid pisceans.

These are the sahuagin.

Sahuagin are evil aquatic humanoids that possess an affinity with sharks.

They make raids against sailing ships and coastal communities, where they steal treasures and kidnap people to feed upon in their name of their ravenous shark god. These raids are only carried out on moonless nights, as sahuagin hate and are blinded by bright light.

The average sahuagin stands 7 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds (25 bulk).
