Blood Rage (Ex)

When a colossal asquenti takes damage in combat, at the start of its next turn it can fly into a rage without taking an action. It gains 5 temporary Hit Points and a +1 bonus on melee attack and damage rolls, but it takes a –2 penalty to its AC. The rage lasts as long as the battle or 1 minute, whichever is shorter. It cannot end its rage voluntarily.

Enormous and fierce, these mutant asquenti are particularly rare, typically appearing perhaps once in a generation. However, the Colossal Tiger colony contains a substantial minority of these mutants who serve as its ruling class.
