Telepathic Link (Su)

A homunculus cannot speak, but the process of creating one links it telepathically with its creator. A homunculus knows what its creator knows and can convey to them everything it sees and hears, out to a distance of 1,500 feet. If the homunculus is destroyed, the creator takes 17 points of damage. If the creator is slain, the homunculus becomes mindless, claims its current location as its lair, and instinctively attacks anyone who comes near.

Environment any
Organization solitary

Homunculi are tiny constructs created by spellcasters to act as spies and servants. They are created through mysticism and alchemy, using the spellcaster’s own blood in the procedure. This blood-link provides a special bond between the homunculus and its creator.

The construct is completely loyal to its master and can telepathically transmit anything it sees or hears back to its creator.

The appearance of a homunculus varies based on the will of its creator. Many homunculi appear to be a winged humanoid creature, similar to a gargoyle or tiny demon. Some spellcasters make their homunculi appear more human. Particularly vain mages even make these constructs look like themselves.
